Molly McLauchlan
Molly McLaughlan is our featured artist at the Burien Community Center November 18, 2025-March 31, 2026, displaying mixed media works on the theme “Days Gone By.”
This is her first solo exhibit.
“Vibrant, dynamic, and the perfect amount of chaotic my artistic practice explores a deep inquiry into nurturing my inner child, Molly said. “Drawing from that concept, my work expands to encompass broader societal issues, including the stigma surrounding mental health, environmental consciousness, and familial bonds.”
“I see my creative process as an act of self-discovery—an ongoing quest to better understand myself and, by extension, the world around me. In an increasingly tumultuous world, I aspire for my art to serve as a source of solace and inspiration, evoking laughter, nostalgia, or a sense of shared humanity.,” she continued.
