Artist Statement: 
Hello! My name is Ruth de Kok. I am 74 years old and have been creating art and taking art classes for at least 25 years. I used soft pastel for many years and now mostly use acrylics.

I used to hang my art in coffee shops, state and county fairs, cupcake shops, and even a children’s clothing shop. Nowadays, it hangs at the Alki Gyro on Alki Beach. Art is my hobby. I enjoy creating art with friends and family. I fancy myself after the Impressionists. I hope you enjoy!
